Citizen Chronograph Automatic

Citizen Chronograph Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse??? If you are a viewer of Disney Channel or Mickey Mouse's Club House, you probably know there is a section called "Hidden Mickey"..... Look at the dial of this watch, do you find the hidden mickey???

I had blogged about Citizen Bullhead Automatic Chronograph previously HERE.... This is a different variant and a later version of Citizen Bullhead. It was first came out in 1978. And this is a much rarer form...

The stainless steel case is octagon shaped. The case is measuring 41mm x 38mm.

This watch has a black dial with slightly pinkish silver subdial. It has tachymeter printed on the most outer part of the dial. The hour and minutes hands, as well as the tip of hour markers are all being luminoused.

The crown of the watch is embossed with "CTZ" signifying Citizen Watch.

The bracelet for the watch is accurate and still original. I have compared it with the photo shown in the book the Museum of Japanese Made Watches.

This watch is powered by the 23 jewels automatic Citizen 8110A movement. It has an amplitude of 28,800 bph. The bullhead has a quickset day and date function.

Thia is a vintage column wheel cronograph with flyback function. The 8110 has the handwinding capability. But like most Japanese automatic chronograph from that era, you can't find a second hand on the watch...... Like what I have said before... Citizen or any Japanese automatic chronograph is value for money.
