When there is first, there is always a second: Pronto No. 2

Pronto Tropic Master Day-Date

I usually like to write about a watch by doing a background introduction on the brand and its history. With Pronto, I seriously can't find much information about it. I highly suspect this is another Asian own Swiss brand. With Pronto watch, it is always stated as "Swiss Made".... There is never any doubt with Swiss movement in the Pronto watch as it is always the authentic ETA movement. But to utilize and boast about Swiss's heritage and origin, you need to abide to certain guidelines.  Hence, I believe Pronto watches must be cased in Switzerland.

This is another piece of Rolex looks alike that I have in my possession. This is the Pronto Tropic Master Day-Date. The watch has good solid stainless steel case, screw in signed crown, and Oyster look bracelet with short clasp.

The uniqueness of this watch lays on its bezel. Unlike most Rolex looks alike that stick to the famous fluted bezel. This bezel mimics the rare Rolex's engine turned bezel.

Pronto does have an attractive caseback. Its logo gives a striking elegance look.

The inner case back is signed with Pronto Watch SA.

This is the classic 2834-2 25 jewels automatic movement with 28,800 bph. This movement is gold plated with slight decoration and the rotor is signed with Pronto.

Nothing great to shout about..... But it is still a good watch and serves good purpose in telling you time. I put the title Pronto No. 2 because I have another Pronto here.
