Rotary Watches Ltd was established at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Moise Dreyfuss in 1895. By the 1920s family members Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss began importing Rotary watches to Britain, which was to become the company's most successful market. In 1940 Rotary became the official watch supplier for the British Army. Today, Rotary is still an independent family company. Despite being a British company, Rotary is a  member of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH.

This is a Rotary Chronograph from the 1970's era. This watch is about 42mm and with oval shaped stainless steel case. It has acrylic glass and a black dial with grey coloured subdial at 3 and 9 o'clock. The watch has a racing red center chronograph hand and sub-hand. The second hand is in black colour. The subdial at 3 o'clock is a chronograph 30 minutes counter.

The stainless steel crown is unsigned but is user friendly in winding and adjusting time. The push buttons are simple in design and easy to operate. 

This watch has a plain back case. 

Removing the back case, you will see the famous Valjoux 7733 movement. This is one of the classic chronograph movement, It is a handwinding 17 jewels movement. Valjoux 7733 has a frequency of 18,800 alternations per hours, and a power-reserve of 45 hours. You will never regret to have a piece of Swiss Valjoux 7733... it is a true classic and a legend......

Here is my other watches with 7733 movement. And here also!! I don't know how many more "Here" in the future.... but for me, the more the better.
