Swatch Febbre Milanese

Swatch YCS445

The city of Milan....

Febbre Milanese is literately translated as Milan Fever. When you tell me Milan, first two things that come to my mind are AC Milan, the famous football club and fashion capital of the world.

This watch is from the 2004 Spring Summer Collection and classified under the family tree of Chrono Irony. The design of the watch may be inspired by Italian. The colour scheme used is a tribute to AC Milan which usually has the black and red jersey.

What is most striking about this watch is the Bordeaux red and black coloured leather strap. The dial is also Bordeaux red and black. Wondering whether the leather band is made of fine Italian cowhide???

The leather band is with the Swatch signed stainless steel buckle.

The case is made of stainless steel and is measuring 40mm in diameter. The upper bezel has the word Swatch circularly engraved. The black dial has white minute markings and has arabic numbered minute marking at 20, 40 and 60 minute positions. This watch has a date window at 4 o'clock position and is a quartz chronograph.

Like standard Swatch watches, it has a water resistant of 3 Bar.

TItoni 14K that needs a bracelet

Prestigious Titoni Cosmo King 14K

I have spent some fortune restoring this Titoni 14K. The crown and the acrylic crystal have been replaced with original parts. The case has been ultra sonic cleaned and polished. The dial is still in its original state. What is missing is a duo tones bracelet to match the watch.

Titoni not again!

The transitional period Titoni

This was from the last few batches of Cosmo King that used the acrylic crystal. This was produced during the early 1990's. Unlike conventional vintage Cosmo King, this watch has a slight different casing, case back design and bracelet.
The dial is pretty standard Cosmo King's design. The bezel is engine turned design and the case is curved in such a way that it formed protective lugs for the crown.

The bracelet has the typical jubilee look but the links are somewhat flattened. The clasp is still the traditional vintage Titoni signed type.

The case back has evolved into more contemporary design and look quite similar to the latest Cosmo King case back. The movement in this watch is the Titoni assembled ETA-2834-2.

Citizen mid size 100m diver

Citizen 100M Diver

This is my wife's diver watch. She loves mid-size watches that are sporty and tough. Maybe she is lacking the feminine genome..... Hahahaaaaaaa wait until she sees this post.
The watch case measuring 38mm and is made of stainless steel. The design of this watch is homage to Rolex Submariner. Like most Citizen automatic of this era, the watch uses the in-house 8200, 21 jewels movement. If you are wondering where is the strap or bracelet.... well the original rubber strap snapped off after a while. All the original Seiko and Citizen rubber strap have this problem. Since my wife seldom wear any watch, so I could not be bothered to find a replacement strap for this watch.

Cyma Again ~ Boy Size President

Cyma Gold President --- Fit for my princes?

Bought this few years back..... This is a new watch, I am safe keeping for my children or grandchildren. This is gold plated Cyma automatic watch with date. It has a very beautiful shinning blue dial with roman indexes.

Unlike the Cyma I posted here, this one has the Cyma signed crown and is screw in type.

The back case is see-through screw in type. The 25 jewels automatic 2824 movement is gold plated.

The only short fall is that the watch is without the original bracelet.......

"I want the watch worn by Andy Lau": Cyma Day-Date

Cyma Day Date Duo Tones President Style

I was at one of the CityChain watch outlets in KL, window shopping and appreciating watches.... All of the sudden, a working class young office lady rushed in and asked in Cantonese: "Excuse, got the watch that was worn by Megastar Andy Lau?" Hahahaaaaaaaaaa the power of advertisements, and the influence of Celebrities. The story ended with the girl walked off happily with a Cyma watch.....

I saw this watch in ebay listed by a Hong Kong seller. This watch appears to be brand new apart from the crown. The crown is from another brand. Guess they running out of the Cyma crown while assembling this watch.

This is another homage to the Rolex Oyster day-date. I always have this profound love for black colour dial with golden wording and logo and hour markers. Talking about the crown, it is a gold plated crown from Blansacar, another local Asian brand trying super hard to have some association with Swiss. The crown is screw down. This watch has a sapphire crystal.

The watch has a screw in see through case back. The movement is highly durable gold plated 25 jewels ETA 2834-2. The gold rotor is signed and designated as T5.
